Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Scheduler with a proven track record and exceptional verbal and written communication skills to join our Project Controls team. As an experienced Scheduler, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, reviewing project schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring timely and efficient project execution. With over 10 years of experience in scheduling and a strong focus on communication, you will play a critical role in driving project success and fostering collaboration among project teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Scheduling: Develop detailed project schedules by review and understanding of project scopes and active engagement with project teams, using Primavera P6 and MS Project scheduling software, based on project requirements, milestones, and deliverables.

  • Resource Allocation: Coordinate with project managers, team leads, and resource managers to allocate resources effectively and optimize resource utilization across multiple projects.

  • Schedule Optimization: Analyze schedule data, identify critical paths, and implement strategies to optimize project timelines, mitigate risks, and address schedule constraints.

  • Progress Tracking: Monitor project progress, track milestones, and update schedules as necessary to reflect actual progress and changes in project scope or requirements.

  • Delays: Analyze schedule slippage using industry standard tools and techniques.

  • Communication: Facilitate regular communication and coordination meetings with project teams, stakeholders, and clients to discuss schedule updates, dependencies, and potential risks.

  • Risk Management: Identify and assess schedule-related risks, develop contingency plans, and work proactively to mitigate risks that may impact project schedules.

  • Reporting: Generate schedule-related reports, dashboards, and metrics to provide visibility into project status, performance, and key schedule indicators.

  • Quality Assurance: Ensure schedule accuracy, consistency, and adherence to industry standards and best practices in scheduling methodologies.

  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of schedule changes, approvals, and historical data for audit and reference purposes.

  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in lessons learned sessions, contribute to process improvements, and share best practices to enhance scheduling efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the construction, engineering, or manufacturing industry. Experience in vertical construction, jail construction, and transportation and infrastructure projects is a plus.

  • Advanced Proficiency Primavera P6 is required. Experience with other scheduling software such as Microsoft Project is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of scheduling methodologies, critical path analysis, resource leveling, delay analysis, and earned value management.

  • Excellent communication skills, including written and verbal communication, presentation skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex schedule information to diverse audiences.

  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy, data integrity, and quality assurance in scheduling processes.

  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing project requirements.

  • Certifications from AACE International are a plus.

Compensation Range:

$107,451.00 - $143,268.00
