What you will do:

As the Senior Product Manager for Industrial Chillers and Heat Pumps, you will be responsible for leading the overall strategy and life cycle management of key industrial sustainable products of Johnson Controls, within the HVACR PBU of Global Products. This role provides an exciting opportunity in a fast-paced high-performing dynamic environment. You will be working and collaborating closely with various stakeholders including sales, suppliers, and customers. With the tremendous push for sustainability and de-carbonization, you will lead the growth of our Applied industrial chillers and heat pumps and industrial refrigeration, to drive profitable growth and help customers achieve their sustainability goals.

This is a hybrid position, located in New Freedom, PA USA.

How you will do it:

  • Be the product champion. You are the owner of the product business.
  • Leading the strategy and product life cycle management of existing portfolio, keeping the building life cycle in mind
  • Developing and owning long-range business planning for the assigned product portfolio
  • Maintaining, and updating product roadmaps, setting project priorities
  • Evaluating product performance of the product lines and driving appropriate actions based on business results as well as customer satisfaction.
  • Recommending the launch of new products based on the voice of customers, market trends, and regulations.
  • Ensuring accountability for various programs delivering on-growth, on-budget, and on-time metrics
  • Developing business cases and supporting capital appropriation requests
  • Collaborating closely with key constituents cross functionally including strategic supplier partners and ensuring strong customer engagement.
  • Representing Johnson Controls in industry associations and events, providing thought leadership. Be the influencer.

What you will need:


Required

  • Bachelor's degree required in engineering, business, or marketing.
  • 5years' experience in product management of complex engineered-to-order equipment.
  • Technical understanding and practical application of industrial chillers, heat pumps and their applications, low GWP, and natural refrigerants.
  • Understanding of product development (new product introduction) processand demonstrated execution from voice of customer to new product launch.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a highly matrix diverse global team environment.
  • Proven strong collaboration with cross functional teams and interpersonal skills.
  • Available for travel, including internationally, as required.

Preferred

  • MBA or other graduate-level degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Trends for de-carbonization and sustainability
  • Demonstrated industry engagement and thought leadership, and participation in industry trade associations.
